The Clinical Department Supervisor I provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for assigned clinical and behavioral health staff while supporting quality member care, staff development, clinical operations, and program success. Working closely with the Clinical Program Manager and clinical leadership team, this position helps ensure services are delivered in a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and member-centered environment. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) designation required
Minimum three years of behavioral health, recovery, substance use treatment, or related direct-service experience
Experience providing leadership, supervision, team support, or staff development
Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Health Record systems

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Health, Social Work, Human Services, Criminal Justice, or a related field, OR enrollment in a Master’s degree program preferred
Two or more years of supervisory, lead, administrative, or team leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supporting daily clinical operations, workflow coordination, and service delivery activities
Providing supervision, coaching, and support to behavioral health and clinical staff
Assisting with onboarding, training, scheduling, professional development, and staff accountability
Monitoring documentation quality, compliance requirements, and clinical standards
Supporting audits, chart reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and survey readiness activities
Promoting member safety, engagement, rights, and positive treatment outcomes
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and remove barriers to care
Supporting departmental goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement efforts
