About The Position

This is a hybrid co-op opportunity located in Burnaby, BC, where you will gain hands-on experience in data management and data cleaning for Kardium clinical trials as a member of the Clinical Operations team. You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills, supporting data collection, review, and cleaning, creating data metric summaries, and assisting in the development of data collection tools and standards. This role also involves supporting data management standards and other administrative tasks for the Clinical Operations team, such as document collection and filing.

Requirements

Have a background in data sciences or epidemiology
An interest in healthcare and medical device development
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and other data programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive, proactive attitude and be able to execute tasks with an appropriate level of independence
Demonstrated success working in a team setting

Responsibilities

Supporting in data collection, review, and data cleaning activities
Creating weekly summaries on data metrics
Supporting the development of data collection tools and standards
Supporting data cleaning for clinical trial protocols
Supporting the development of data management standards
Supporting in other administrative tasks for the Clinical Operations team, as needed (e.g., document collection and filing)
