About The Position

The Emergency Department Clinical Coordinator at Bryn Mawr Hospital collaborates with the Nurse Manager to ensure the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the department. This role involves caring for an emergent patient population, ensuring appropriate staffing, and collaborating with other departments to ensure patient safety. Over 50% of the time will be dedicated to overall clinical responsibilities. The position offers opportunities for professional development through tuition reimbursement, participation in hospital and system-wide committees, unit councils, research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program. Requirements

• 3-5 years of recent Emergency Department Nurse experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior charge nurse or other related leadership experience preferred.
• BSN preferred, other related Bachelor's Degree or pursuing required.
• MSN or other related Master's Degree preferred.
• Certification in specialty area desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety of patient care.
• Engage in hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.
