About The Position
The Clinical Coordinator, reporting to the Clinical Director, directs unit personnel in care activities, controls and monitors patient care and hospital services to meet the requirements of accrediting agencies, Federal and State agencies, VWCH, and the community. This role collaborates with ancillary departments to achieve patient care goals, mentors new employees, and assists with the educational needs of the staff. The coordinator also gathers and collates data as assigned, assists with evaluations, and coordinates schedules. This position is responsible for overall department management when the Director is unavailable or otherwise needs assistance, and provides nursing care as needed, conducts chart audits/quality checks, and oversees departmental education.
Requirements
- LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
- Relevant Work Experience
- 2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Assisting Director with scheduling/staffing, reporting, communications
