About The Position

The RN Clinical Coordinator provides leadership and oversight to support high-quality patient care and operational efficiency within a clinical area. The role manages patient flow, coordinates staffing, resolves clinical challenges, and monitors adherence to protocols and standards. The coordinator organizes unit activities during a shift, assigns and directs nursing staff, assesses and monitors patient care, educates staff, and institutes emergency procedures when necessary. The role also provides nursing care to patients as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree and completion of an RN program.
• Three years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nursing License (RN) in Arizona.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
• Clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules nursing staff for specific shifts, considering past utilization trends.
• Measures employee performance.
• Assists with training new staff and developing existing staff.
• Coordinates unit activities during a shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to nursing staff.
• Assesses and monitors patient care and educates nursing staff.
• Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
• Provides nursing care to patients as needed.
• Manages patient flow, coordinates staffing, resolves clinical challenges, and monitors adherence to protocols and standards.
