The Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry and the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a Clinical Child Psychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV. The position will include clinical, teaching/supervision, and research responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a background in assessment and treatment of a wide range of interrelated biological, psychological, and social problems experienced by children and adolescents. Regarding clinical duties, the candidate will have the opportunity to provide service delivery to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents displaying a variety of psychological, behavioral, developmental, academic, family, peer and health-related difficulties including family and child trauma, primarily in an outpatient setting. Additional opportunities to develop specialty clinics may exist, depending on interest and expertise. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The candidate will be involved in our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship in our Behavioral Medicine Track, and our Child Psychiatry Fellowship.
