About The Position

The Clinical Care Pharmacist manages patient and provider communications, ensures accurate prescription processing, and performs pre-verification to uphold quality control and compliance with Strive Pharmacy SOPs. The role involves reviewing prescriptions, verifying formula calculations, counseling patients, and advising providers on appropriate therapy and dosing for individualized care. This is a full-time, onsite position at 120 W 1st Avenue, Mesa, Arizona. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work environment includes regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
Active Arizona pharmacist license.

Responsibilities

Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Perform calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly.
Manage inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers.
Counsel patients.
Offer providers guidance regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care.
