About The Position

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician ready to step into leadership or a newer therapist excited to grow into a management role. The Clinical Care Manager will lead the Rapid Access Unit team in delivering fast, compassionate, high-quality care to people experiencing behavioral health crises. The role involves stabilizing clients, supporting staff development, and strengthening community connections. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a human services field
  • Active or provisional: LCSW, LPC, LMSW, PLPC, or PsyD
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Clear, compassionate communication
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast-paced situations
  • Familiarity with electronic health records
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year post-licensure preferred
  • Experience in medical, crisis, or psychiatric settings is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations and provide after-hours on-call support.
  • Guide and support front-line behavioral health staff.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training.
  • Hold regular supervision and performance evaluations.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee client care concerns and delegate appropriate interventions.
  • Review and audit clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor workflows and collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate monthly reporting to the Department of Mental Health.
  • Develop corrective action plans with HR and leadership.
  • Order supplies and manage equipment for the Rapid Access Unit.
  • Manage staff schedules, timecards, and Workday requests.
  • Support safety drills, facility needs, and emergency procedures.
  • Assist with community outreach and strengthening referral pathways.
