About The Position
GetWell Health System is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and detail-oriented Clinical Care Coordinator to join our expanding healthcare team. This position is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients while supporting providers across multiple specialties. Our team provides integrated healthcare services including Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, Neurology, Cardiology, Pain Management, Occupational Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. Requirements
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a physician office, clinic, urgent care, or specialty practice preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical workflows
- Perform EKGs, injections, point-of-care testing, drug screens, and specimen collection
- Document patient information accurately within the EMR
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans and appointments
- Support quality care initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
- Assist with clinical supply management and inventory
- Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure exceptional patient care
