Clinical Associate/ Admin Associate
About The Position
The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc will provide basic care activities and provide personal needs, comfort and safety of your patient. The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will be focus on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change. The Administrative Associate performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the nursing unit. Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families, and the organization of the patient medical record.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math
- Desire to help people and/or have aspirations of becoming a healthcare professional
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
- Medical terminology (preferred)
- CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care activities and provide personal needs, comfort and safety of your patient.
- Assist with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Perform technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained.
- Participate in a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change.
- Record and measure intake and output.
- Provide patient with personal care and assist with daily activities.
- Perform basic clinical procedures independently or under the supervision of the RN.
- Provide nutritional needs including assisting and ordering room service, setting up meal trays and feeding.
- Handle and control written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families.
- Organize the patient medical record.

- Pay Range: $21.50 - $28.94
