About The Position

The Clinical Assistant provides a positive experience to the communities served through direct and indirect total nursing care of patients in a patient-centered culture. The position requires proficiency in routine patient care procedures, acquired through on-the-job training, and the ability to respond effectively to customer needs while planning work and following safety practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures, acquired through on-the-job training.
• Must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the probationary period; certification is renewed every two years.
• Ability to meet the stated heavy-work physical demands: exert up to 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and more than 20 lbs. constantly.

Nice To Haves

• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and expectations and respond to them in a timely and effective manner.
• Demonstrate the job skills and knowledge needed to perform competently in day-to-day situations.
• Plan steps, resources, contingencies, and milestones needed to accomplish goals.
• Follow Mon Health safety practices to reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, or equipment failures.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
• Perform a variety of routine patient care procedures.
