About The Position
Perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to help provide care to patients, support physicians and keep office operations running smoothly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exposure to patient elements
- Routinely uses standard office equipment
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- May work in a noisy or distracting environment
- If requested by any patient, then staff is required to wear a surgical mask.
- Employees who are not flu-vaccinated will be required to wear a mask in all patient facing areas from September 1 to March 1st unless dates are modified due to clinical factors (unusual epidemic patterns, etc).

Responsibilities
- Collect basic patient intake and vitals
- Perform necessary point of care testing
- Document all patient visits and communication in EMR properly
- Handles refills/ referrals/ authorizations
- Maintain exam room cleanliness prior to each patient appointment
- Stock medical supplies in each exam room per physician preference
- Schedule patient appointments
- Perform necessary cleaning duties maintaining an orderly work environment
- Regular & prompt attendance on agreed upon daily and weekly start and end time.
- Ethical conduct, confidentiality, and collaboration with the healthcare team are expected and considered essential elements of this position
