About The Position

The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology (CHP) within the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) at the University of Florida invites applications for a non-tenure track, clinical faculty position specializing in Neuropsychology and General Mental Health. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank. The Department has a mentoring program designed to assist junior faculty in their professional identity and development. The primary responsibilities for this position include clinical service, supervision, instruction, and administrative leadership, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and student mental health services.

Requirements

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
Candidates must be licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida.

Nice To Haves

Prior postdoctoral and internship training in neuropsychological assessment
Experience working in an outpatient psychology clinic, academic health center or other multidisciplinary setting
Prior university-level teaching experience, particularly in psychology or related disciplines
Experience supervising graduate students and/or interns
Interest in clinic leadership and student mental health services

Responsibilities

Clinical duties include a strong focus on neuropsychological assessment, and a limited number of outpatient psychotherapy services, dependent on departmental clinical needs.
This position includes clinical supervision of predoctoral psychology interns and graduate students.
The position is designed to teach one course per semester within the graduate curriculum.
Teaching assignments may include courses such as Advanced Psychotherapy and Introduction to Psychotherapy.
Depending on departmental needs, the role may also include instruction at the undergraduate level (e.g., Introduction to Clinical Psychology).
This position is expected to oversee the UPTurn Wellness Program which provides general psychology services to PHHP undergraduate and graduate students.
Responsibilities include supervision of graduate student clinicians, clinic oversight, and outreach and marketing to the PHHP student body.
