About The Position

The Department of Clinical and Health Psychology (CHP) within the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) at the University of Florida invites applications for a non-tenure track, clinical faculty position specializing in Neuropsychology and General Mental Health. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month position at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank. The Department has a mentoring program designed to assist junior faculty in their professional identity and development. The primary responsibilities for this position include clinical service, supervision, instruction, and administrative leadership, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and student mental health services.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida.

Nice To Haves

Prior postdoctoral and internship training in neuropsychological assessment
Experience working in an outpatient psychology clinic, academic health center or other multidisciplinary setting
Prior university-level teaching experience, particularly in psychology or related disciplines
Experience supervising graduate students and/or interns
Interest in clinic leadership and student mental health services

Responsibilities

Clinical service, supervision, instruction, and administrative leadership, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and student mental health services.
Neuropsychological assessment and a limited number of outpatient psychotherapy services.
Clinical supervision of predoctoral psychology interns and graduate students.
Teach one course per semester within the graduate curriculum.
Oversee the UPTurn Wellness Program which provides general psychology services to PHHP undergraduate and graduate students.
Supervision of graduate student clinicians, clinic oversight, and outreach and marketing to the PHHP student body.
