About The Position

The Department of Undergraduate Nursing in the College of Nursing and Health Innovation, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a full-time APT clinical faculty position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Current unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in Texas
• Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in assigned subject matter
• Legally able to accept work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Prior BSN clinical teaching experience
• DNP or PhD

Responsibilities

• Implement high quality instruction and supervision to students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Evaluate student performance and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Teach assigned courses, commensurate with experience.
• Build and maintain strong partnership with clinical agencies.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on student performance and competencies.
• Serve on departmental committees and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Uphold public standards in nursing
• Serve as a professional role model.
• Perform other duties as needed.
