Clinical Assistant Professor – Board Certified Behavior Analyst – doctorate (BCBA-D)
About The Position
The Department of Psychiatry at UF College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida is seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Psychology. The position is a 12 month, full-time (1.0 FTE), non-tenured track faculty position. As a member of the University of Florida College of Medicine faculty, your assignment will be to work in collaboration with the UF Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment to expand the BCBA services, with a particular focus on the behavioral assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder. This position supports state-funded initiatives under SB112 and is part of a broader effort to expand psychiatric and behavioral health services within UF Health, enhancing access to high-quality mental health care for individuals and communities across Florida. This position will work to expand the applied behavior analysis and treatment services for children with a severe behavior disorders specifically in the area of behavioral assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder. In addition, this position will participate in a growing research program in improving care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and pediatric feeding disorders. Furthermore, this position will serve as an important academic faculty by supporting the training of medical and psychology students, interns, residents, and fellows for individuals with unique neurodevelopmental diagnoses and pediatric feeding disorder.
Requirements
- Ph.D. with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis, board certification at the doctoral level
- Current and maintain BCBA certificate
- At least five years of experience in behavioral treatment for pediatric feeding disorders.
- Strong documentations skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Ability collaborates with other providers and professionals
- Ability to adapt and manage change

Responsibilities
- Expand BCBA services, with a particular focus on the behavioral assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder.
- Expand the applied behavior analysis and treatment services for children with severe behavior disorders specifically in the area of behavioral assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorder.
- Participate in a growing research program in improving care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and pediatric feeding disorders.
- Serve as an academic faculty by supporting the training of medical and psychology students, interns, residents, and fellows for individuals with unique neurodevelopmental diagnoses and pediatric feeding disorder.
