About The Position

The University of Alabama School of Law seeks qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Domestic Violence Law Clinic. The successful candidate will oversee and/or conduct all phases of legal services for Domestic Violence Clinic clients, teach and supervise law clinic students, and manage other law clinic staff. This is a year-round (12-month) position with eligibility for security of position. Salary, benefits, and research support will be nationally competitive. Requirements

  • Outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field)
  • Must be a member of the Alabama Bar or will apply for and become a member of the Alabama Bar within a reasonable time of beginning the position.
