About The Position

The incumbent participates in all phases of the system development lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, implementation, and production support. The position is responsible for maintaining application integrity, supporting regulatory compliance, developing documentation, and ensuring high system availability while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of operations, systems and functions, including planning, design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
  • Recent and in-depth knowledge of Radiology and Imaging systems functionality and usage.
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Must be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple activities and varied deadlines.
  • Epic Radiant Certification.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area, and or equivalent combination of experience/training.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
  • Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of clinical workflow and documentation in Radiology (Order, Scheduling, Image Acquisition, and Viewing).
  • Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
  • Experience in PACS systems.
