About The Position

Troubleshoots, analyzes, develops, and maintains clinical applications, procedures, and other systems that satisfy the needs of the user departments. This role works closely with Clinical Informaticists to design, optimize, and support the EHR and related clinical systems. The analyst will review and provide notifications on EMR upgrades, explore and develop ways to expand the capabilities of clinical systems, and evaluate system feedback to suggest changes to the user experience. The position aims to continually improve information technology services for users and serve as the primary knowledge source for IT support staff regarding EMR technology. Additionally, the role assists in meeting state and federal reporting data criteria, develops and delivers training for staff on new and existing software applications, provides troubleshooting for individual users, and offers data reporting on support issues. Responsibilities also include performing acceptance testing and documenting challenges with EMR updates. The individual must support the mission, vision, and goals of Avem Health Partners, serving as a role model by exhibiting positive customer service, courteous and respectful communication, and handling difficult situations professionally. They will hold themselves accountable for professional practice, participate in performance improvement activities, demonstrate knowledge of unit goals, and actively engage in committees and projects. The role may involve acting as a preceptor, maintaining excellent work attendance, and participating in required meetings and training sessions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Technology.
  • 5 years of relevant clinical applications experience.
  • Epic Willow Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Clinical Informaticist to design, optimize and support the EHR and related clinical systems.
