Clinical Applications Analyst - Epic Radiant
About The Position
Troubleshoots, analyzes, develops, and maintains clinical applications, procedures, and other systems that satisfy the needs of the user departments. This role works closely with Clinical Informaticists to design, optimize, and support the EHR and related clinical systems. The analyst will review and provide notifications on EMR upgrades, explore and develop ways to expand the capabilities of clinical systems, and evaluate system feedback to suggest changes to the user experience. The position aims to continually improve information technology services for users and serve as the primary knowledge source for IT support staff regarding EMR technology. Responsibilities also include assisting in meeting state and federal reporting data criteria, developing and delivering training for staff on new and existing software applications, providing troubleshooting for individual users, and performing acceptance testing for EMR updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Technology.
- 5 years of relevant clinical applications experience.
- Epic Radiant Experience Required.
- This job requires visual abilities, auditory abilities, must be intact to perform duties.
Responsibilities

- Assists in meeting data reporting criteria of the state and federal reporting.
- Develops trainings for staff on new software applications, as well as training new and existing users on current software.
- Provides troubleshooting for individual users.
- Provide data reporting for agency on support issues.
- Perform acceptance testing and document any new problems of challenges with EMR updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
