(US) Clinical AI Nurse SME - 3 Month Contract
About The Position
PointClickCare is seeking a Clinical AI Nurse SME for a 3-month contract opportunity. This part-time role, with flexible scheduling up to 28 hours per week, is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental engagement. The primary focus (95%) is on labeling PointClickCare clinical notes to train AI models, which involves sitting for extended periods. While labeling, you will provide clinical feedback and recommendations using your nursing knowledge of Senior Living/SNF electronic medical records. You will also offer clinical expertise within the labeling team, align with set labeling rules, and provide input for potential labeling changes to improve the product. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team of subject matter experts for quality review of AI products and complete required training.
Requirements
- Clinical background (RN, NP) – at least 5 years' acute or LTPAC clinical experience.
- Clinical software experience and predictive intelligence with an EHR preferred.
- A general familiarity with how AI is being used in healthcare and understanding terminology such as LLM, NLP, hallucinations.
- Clinical degree required; bachelor's degree preferred with proof of clinical license verification.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must be a self-starter and work independently.
- Must be a multitasker with excellent communication skills who is energized by working in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in data labeling, supporting and servicing customers using a clinical software application is preferred.
- Technical acumen or familiarity with the PointClickCare EHR is preferred but not required.
- Passion for transforming healthcare.
- Physical security requirements while working within the job, including a private space, a properly secured Wi-Fi connection, no shared access to the computer used for labeling.
- Install the approved and assigned VPN and use a particular internet browser as defined by the project.
- Possess strong proficiency in written and spoken English with professional communication skills and the ability to understand medical terminology.
- Must be able to complete the required background check, contract period and follow HR policies while representing PCC and the period that follows based on policy.

Responsibilities
- Completing labeling of PointClickCare clinical notes for data input to help train AI models.
- Provide clinical feedback and recommendations using nursing knowledge of Senior Living/SNF electronic medical record while labeling.
- Provide Clinical expertise within the labeling team.
- Align with set labeling rules as well as provide challenging input regarding potential labeling changes with the goal of improving the product.
- Work with a team of subject matter experts involving quality review of AI products.
- Complete the required training as defined by security, clinical director and HR.
