The Clinic Support Coordinator performs receptionist and administrative duties related to clinic operations, collects patient information, maintains confidentiality of patient files, and coordinates with multiple disciplines and customers. This role is the first and last point of contact with patients daily. The coordinator answers the telephone, provides accurate program and services information, registers and schedules patients, and confirms insurance guarantor information. They are responsible for the daily check-in and check-out of patients and reporting this information. On admission, they verify patient identification, demographic, and insurance information, ensuring all paperwork and consent information are obtained/updated in the medical record. The role also involves maintaining and ordering supplies, distributing incoming packages and mail, and maintaining medical records with accuracy and timely filing of all reports. The coordinator ensures routine and priority tasks are completed within established timeframes, coordinates projects, and tracks/completes metrics and statistics as assigned by operations leadership. They copy documents for the treatment team, communicate and coordinate the transfer process to and from Rogers, and act as a communication resource to other disciplines, external agencies, and the treatment team. The role also includes maintaining a safe and orderly environment and performing other duties as assigned.
