As our Clinic Supervisor, you will oversee the staff (patient care team, front desk, records, and ancillary services) in the outpatient clinic who are caring for our patients. Every day you will oversee a smooth flow of clinic operations, advocate for and mentor your team as you support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with our operational goals and objectives, assist with budget development and management to ensure cost-effective operations, and monitor the productivity and efficiency of your department. To be successful in this role, you will be accountable and confident, an excellent communicator in one-on-one interactions and in front of groups, and be comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your clinic. In collaboration with Manager, Clinic Operations, supports a vision and culture that reflects a patient care-focused environment. Collaborates, as appropriate, to discuss and effectively resolve operational, staff and financial issues pertaining to the practice. Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in care center operations. Provides value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, support standardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues. Ensures care center meets established standards. Takes ownership of and appropriate action to improve care center performance. Supports the Manager, Clinic Operations in overseeing quality of task (i.e., electronic health record) management to support patients and providers. Audits for accuracy and completeness. Reviews task routing and response times. Coaches staff on areas of improvement. Assists in the coordination of facility management and support, including voice and data communications, electronic medical record and clinical information systems, space, and equipment. Participates in the integration of clinical information systems into care center operations.
