About The Position

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona, employing approximately 400 providers and 1200 support staff across a wide variety of specialties. DHMG has experienced significant growth, now offering over 73 subspecialty services and playing a role in educating future healthcare providers through 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows in 25 academic programs. As our Clinic Supervisor, you will lead and manage the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring efficient patient flow, exceptional service delivery, and a productive work environment for our team. Every day you will oversee administrative and clinical support staff, manage scheduling and facility resources, monitor compliance with policies and procedures, resolve patient and staff concerns, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize clinic performance. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, a proven ability to manage complex clinic operations, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and team development. You will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices, driving continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Two (2) years experience in related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient patient flow, exceptional service delivery, and a productive work environment.
  • Oversee administrative and clinical support staff.
  • Manage scheduling and facility resources.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Resolve patient and staff concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize clinic performance.
  • Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinic operations.
  • Provides value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, support standardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues.
  • Supports the established processes and systems to enhance customer service by providing coaching to staff and ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors, and operates clinic in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements impacting areas of responsibilities.
  • Assists in determining the workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks while monitoring work performance and supporting with training and coaching as necessary.
  • Assists in managing the revenue cycle and supports the management of supply costs, tracks inventory usage, using purchasing information management systems, including maintaining staffing levels that adhere to labor standards and effectively controlling staff premium pay.
