About The Position

The Journey Clinic RN provides comprehensive nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care environment, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. The role facilitates care coordination by using the nursing process to assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of care and teaching needs through direct, telephonic/telehealth, or electronic encounters. The Clinic RN collaborates with other members of the health care team, maintains compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, and supports clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients. Actions reflect the organization's core values.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• 18 months of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ambulatory patients across the lifespan, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Coordinate care by assessing, identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating care and teaching needs.
• Deliver care and conduct patient encounters directly, by telephone or telehealth, or electronically.
• Collaborate with other members of the health care team.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support clinicians in delivering quality health care to patients.
