About The Position

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) Lead works at 132nd & Center Family Medicine and delivers compassionate, high-quality, individualized patient care. The role involves making critical assessments, implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes. The RN Lead also helps coordinate clinic operations and clinical staff, supports training and orientation, and contributes to quality improvement activities.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows practice in the state.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of Clinic RN experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient flow throughout the clinic areas.
Assist the Practice Manager or Healthcare Provider with clinical staffing issues within the department or related departments.
Delegate tasks to clinical staff and create clinical staff schedules as requested.
Facilitate training and orientation for clinical staff members.
Assess and triage patients to the appropriate department within the clinic.
Accurately obtain health histories and reconcile medications.
Serve as an interpreter between patients and providers as requested.
Administer medications by oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and IV routes.
Follow nursing policies and procedures for intravenous infusion.
Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for various tests.
Educate patients and/or families on prescribed treatment regimens.
Perform clinical competencies.
Actively participate in quality improvement projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
