About The Position

As a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) Lead at 132nd & Center Family Medicine, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality, individualized care and contribute to patient well-being and recovery. You will make clinical assessments, implement patient care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinic environment. The role also includes monitoring clinic patient flow and coordinating clinical staff activities.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows practice in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of Clinic RN experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient flow throughout clinic areas.
• Assist the Practice Manager or Healthcare Provider with clinical staffing issues within the department or related departments.
• Delegate tasks to clinical staff and create clinical staff schedules as requested.
• Facilitate training and orientation for clinical staff members.
• Assess and triage patients to the appropriate department within the clinic.
• Obtain health histories accurately and reconcile medications.
• Serve as an interpreter between patients and providers as requested.
• Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and intravenous routes.
• Follow nursing policies and procedures for intravenous infusion.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for various tests.
• Educate patients and/or families on prescribed treatment regimens.
• Perform clinical competencies.
• Actively participate in quality improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
