About The Position

The Clinic Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Medical Group setting. The nurse communicates with physicians, the Manager or Director, and coworkers about changes in a patient’s clinical condition, including diagnostic study results and symptoms, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

The nurse coordinates patient care with physicians and directs and guides other personnel while maintaining departmental standards of care. The role works with other departments and coworkers to provide quality care across the continuum, support efficient patient flow, and maintain an organized unit. The nurse adheres to regulations, standards, and facility or unit policies and procedures; participates in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services; and serves as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
