About The Position

Prairie Ridge Health is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to work in Orthopedics. This is a 0.9-1.0 FTE position (36-40 hours per week) with a Monday-Friday, day shift schedule. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients of all age groups, from infants to the elderly. The Clinic RN will lead the patient care team, conduct thorough patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social), formulate nursing diagnoses, and communicate findings to physicians and mid-level providers. This role requires managing and delivering direct patient care, utilizing clinical decision-making skills, and prioritizing tasks to ensure the patient's plan of care is effectively managed. Additionally, the RN will educate patients and their families, as well as other healthcare team members, on health maintenance and disease processes. The RN will work at the clinic location where the Provider is scheduled for the day.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Valid nursing license as recognized by state of Wisconsin.
Current CPR

Nice To Haves

Baccalaureate degree preferred
Relevant clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

Providing nursing care for adults, pediatrics, infants, adolescents, and elderly.
