OMC Clinic Nurse- Urology (0.6 FTE/Days)
About The Position
Overlake Clinics, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Urology Clinic on the hospital campus in Bellevue. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient nursing care. The Clinic Nurse provides direction to the non-physician clinical team and educates patients and families about health education, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. The role includes telephone triage, assistance with urologic procedures in the procedural area, and direct patient care during nurse visits. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, three days a week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients.
- Provide direction to the non-physician clinical team.
- Educate patients and families on health education, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
- Perform telephone triage.
- Assist with urologic procedures, including vasectomy, cystourethrogram, urodynamic studies, prostate biopsy, and catheterization.
- Provide direct patient care during nurse visits.
