About The Position

Provide and coordinate the delivery of clinical resources to assure safe, high-quality patient care and ensure continuity of care. The role is performed in an environment where patients’ needs are short term, non-acute, and non-life-threatening. The position is in General Cardiology and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or a Nursing Diploma.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or a current compact state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on the department.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in patient nursing, a specialty or primary care clinic, and/or telephonics, depending on the position.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proficiency with email applications.
• Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records.
• For the Medical Call Center department, a multi-state license.
