About The Position

Senior Life Solutions, a division of Psychiatric Medical Care, is seeking a Program Clinic Nurse to focus on Care, Community, and Compliance. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a behavioral health program. The nurse will also engage the local community through educational presentations and contribute to program enhancement by providing feedback on patient care processes and quality improvement initiatives. Regular team meetings are part of the role to discuss patient progress and outreach efforts.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing
Associates degree or above

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team, including a psychiatric physician, a social worker, and a CNA, to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars in the community to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.
Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
