About The Position

Valley View Hospital is seeking a team-oriented Clinic Medical Assistant, with PCT and CNA candidates also considered, to support patients at its GI Center. The role helps patients prepare for assessment and treatment and supports their ongoing care related to digestive health, including swallowing, reflux, and conditions affecting the pancreas, gallbladder, liver, stomach, and colon. The position is a weekday day shift scheduled within 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Spanish speaking is ideal but not required.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Current BLS certification is preferred or must be obtained within three months of hire.
Eligible to work in the United States; the employer is unable to sponsor visas.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
Previous clinic experience.
Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical duties as directed by a licensed health care provider or delegated by a registered nurse designated by the clinic.
Assist licensed health care providers and nursing staff with general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, and treatments.
File and retrieve medical records and perform general office clerical duties.
