About The Position

We’re hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a family medicine clinician who cares for patients of all ages. This role offers a great mix of hands-on patient care and variety in your day. Will be cross-trained in phlebotomy. Requirements

Current LPN or CMA in the state of Minnesota.
Ability to read and communicate effectively.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Decision-making and problem-solving.
Team building.
Must adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
Must adhere to the Keys to Heartfelt Care.
Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Nice To Haves

Will be cross-trained in phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

Clean, prepare, and restock exam rooms.
Assist clinician with procedures as directed.
Administer medications and allergy shots as ordered.
Schedule mammograms, CT scans, ultrasounds, surgery, or any outpatient procedures as directed by the clinician.
Perform hearing and tympanogram tests for individuals and companies; UA collection for routine and company drug screens; ear washes; BPV’s; EKG’s; immunizations; dressing changes.
Notify patients of lab or radiology results or complete any follow-up calls to patients under the direction of the clinician.
Provide patient education as directed.
Ensure all pertinent patient information is documented in the EMR.
Send requests to the Referral Coordinator for appointments with other specialty clinics and physicians.
Other duties as assigned.
