About The Position
Enjoy the special relationships a rural clinic has to offer! Rare opening at our Dassel Clinic. We are seeking a CMA or LPN to work at our Dassel Clinic.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Program Graduate or LPN registered in State MN
- Current LPN license in the State of Minnesota or Medical Assistant certification required.
- BLS (if not current, within 30 days of start date).
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to patients served, along with appropriate support services to MD and/or PA required.
- Familiarity with legal and insurance requirements related to documentation within the medical record required.
- Strong human relations, written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience in a clinic setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists the MD/PA to help patients maintain heal or promote healing. Performs patient care duties with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Performs technical skills specific to assigned service area and other areas as appropriate
- Provides quality service to all internal customers. Assists all support service areas, as needed
- Accepts responsibility for professional growth and continuing education
- Accepts responsibility and assures quality, cost effective patient care
- Performs clerical duties as assigned.
- Accepts responsibility for communication with all customers Uses proper verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families d other health disciplines to support the continuum of health are delivery.
