About The Position

Great opportunity to work at the Willmar Clinic and Redwood Falls Clinic in Diabetes Care. Provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits. Communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers. Assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently.

Requirements

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff
Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistant
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. Certification from one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Registry of Medical Assistants program (ARMA)
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
