About The Position

The Clinic Lead works closely with clinic management and human resources employees to support employee onboarding efforts, provide multi-disciplinary training for new hires and current employees, and monitor, implement, and enforce policies and standards relating to PTCOA’s unique employment setting to maximize the delivery of exceptional patient care.

  • Ability to logically troubleshoot, analyze situations, and make appropriate decisions within the scope and authority of the position
  • An associate’s degree
  • Two (2) years of experience in the health care setting or a related field with adaptable skillsets.
  • A working knowledge of HIPAA’s Privacy Rule.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations at your clinic.
  • Manage and oversee facility issues at your clinic. This includes, but is not limited to, resolving issues involving utilities, plumbing, phones, computers, printers, fax machines, alarms, etc. and/or calling the appropriate individuals to resolve these issues.
  • Oversee ordering, stocking and management of supplies at your clinic.
  • Maintain copies of all applicable PTCOA policies, including the Employee Handbook and the Policies and Procedures Manual, among others, and ensure that employees in your clinic are familiar with such policies.
  • Assist the Human Resources Department with implementation and enforcement of the Employee Handbook and other personnel policies and practices at your clinic. This includes the responsibility to report to the Practice Manager any potential policy violations you are aware of at your clinic.
  • Monitor the call-in line for your clinic and ensure appropriate staffing levels as necessary.
  • Assist with new hire orientation when needed.
  • Work with COO, Practice Manager and other members of administration to oversee implementation and enforcement of the Policies & Procedures Manual at your clinic.
  • Maintain close communication with PTCOA/ISI management regarding any and all issues, updates, complaints, changes, etc. occurring at your clinic.
  • Manage the interactions of patients and your clinic. This includes the responsibility to (a) receive and assess complaints and questions from patients of your clinic and determine, based on guidance provided, the appropriate action to take in order to achieve resolution; and (b) oversee the patient comment card program.
  • Perform duties of OSHA Safety Coordinator.
  • Monitor weather and natural disasters and, in the event your clinic may need to close early, open late or close for a longer period of time, it is your responsibility to make a recommendation to management regarding office closure, delayed opening or early closure at least one (1) hour in advance of scheduled start time or departure time.
  • Maintain ARPMP account information for Providers at your clinic. This includes the responsibility to add new employees to ARPMP, link and unlink employees to appropriate Provider’s account, assist with account issues, etc.
  • Be the liaison between the clinic and ASC
