About The Position

Lifemark is seeking a passionate and community-focused Clinic Director for our Lifemark Sturgeon clinic. This clean, bright rehabilitation centre is located in the heart of St. Albert and has many opportunities to collaborate with the neighboring Sturgeon Medical Centre offering diagnostic imaging, woman's health and upper limb surgeons. The clinic has easy access to major routes for easy commute, and designated underground staff parking. A high earning potential with a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience, and a passion for supporting staff through mentorship, education and professional development. This role will appeal to candidates who are seeking a leadership opportunity while still maintaining an active caseload of clients.

Requirements

  • Full registration and good standing as a regulated health professional with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressive clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership skills within a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • A proven ability to inspire and develop teams, drive operational efficiency, and foster a patient-centric culture.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for community engagement.

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee all clinic operations, driving both financial and clinical performance. Implement innovative strategies for growth, efficiency, and service expansion within the community.
  • Team Empowerment & Development: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clinicians and support staff. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, shared ownership, and exceptional patient-centered care.
  • Clinical Excellence & Quality Assurance: Champion the highest standards of patient care, guide complex case management, and lead quality improvement initiatives that directly benefit our clients.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong, meaningful relationships within the local community, identifying opportunities for outreach, partnerships, and programs that address local health needs.
  • Operational Mastery: Optimize clinic flow, manage resource allocation, and collaborate seamlessly with administrative teams to ensure an outstanding experience for both patients and staff.
  • Talent Acquisition & Nurturing: Play a pivotal role in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top-tier clinical talent, building a team that reflects our commitment to excellence.
