About The Position
Do you want to help people get back to being independent following a period of illness or injury? If you do then this could be the role you are looking for. This role would suit either an experienced or newly qualified physiotherapist. Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) is an integrated countywide domiciliary service delivered by Adult Social Care (ASC) and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT). We have recently been Highly Commended at the Great British Care Awards. The role of a physiotherapist in JCR is to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support people within their homes. You will assess the persons current function/needs and create and implement a tailored treatment plan to enable people to regain independence and continue to live safely at home. This is a really rewarding role allowing you to see first hand the positive impact your role is having in getting people back to being independent and remaining at home.
Requirements
- BSc in Physiotherapy/post grad MSc Physiotherapy with a HCPC registration
- Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate workload
- Able to respond positively to change and to implement change initiatives
- Motivated to work flexibly within an inter-professional framework
- Ability to meet the travel requirements of the role
