About The Position

This position will collaborate with our patients and staff to uphold compassionate clinical care and clerical support. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this position will be responsible for: Escorting patients to examination room. Verifying patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing and/or recording medical, social and psychological history. Ensuring a safe, clean environment for patients and co-workers. Collecting and recording current medication history for review by the provider. Obtaining vital signs; height; weight and records information in patient record. Other duties as assigned. This position is a great opportunity for an individual who is flexible, patient, and skilled at clear communication and critical thinking.

Requirements

• CNA-Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from the State of NE required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate Degree in Medical Assisting required or successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
• Certification as Medication Aide from the State of Nebraska required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
