About The Position

The Clinic Assistant assists providers and staff with the clerical and patient care aspects of a pediatric clinic. The position is within Children’s Minnesota, a not-for-profit pediatric health system serving children and young adults throughout the Upper Midwest. The posted salary range is based on market benchmarks; annual salary figures are based on full-time employment of 40 standard hours per week, with part-time salaries prorated to scheduled hours. Individual pay is determined by factors including role-specific market indicators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, internal equity, and organizational needs. The position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Night, weekend, or on-call work may qualify for shift differentials or premium pay. Offers are contingent on successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and U.S. employment eligibility verification.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Computer knowledge.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Post-high-school training in a health care setting and/or pediatric experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
