About The Position
The Climate Solutions Equipment Associate works within United Rentals’ Power/HVAC division, performing jobsite equipment installations and minor repairs safely and professionally. The role includes safely operating a delivery vehicle and installing HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations. The associate may develop toward higher-level technician roles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of tools applicable to the position.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment.
- Report equipment condition before and after use.
- Demonstrate equipment for customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle and install HVAC, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
