About The Position
At Meals on Wheels Western Michigan, our mission is to provide quality nutrition services in a supportive environment to promote the health and independence of older adults in Kent and Allegan Counties. We offer a range of programs — including home-delivered meals, community dining sites, senior pantry shopping, and liquid nutritional supplements — that help seniors live independently, stay connected, and thrive in their own homes. Meals on Wheels delivers more than just food; we deliver kindness, companionship, and hope — ensuring that no senior is hungry or forgotten. This role is for someone who wants to help fight hunger in Western Michigan and is looking for a meaningful role where they can make a direct impact on their community. As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. You will be the friendly voice behind our support team, helping clients and their families navigate our services with care and professionalism.
Requirements
- Working with the elderly: 1 year
- Data entry: 1 year
- Phone-based client service: 1 year
Responsibilities
- Align with our mission and values as an organization.
- Provide outstanding customer phone and email support to seniors and their families.
- Accurately document client interactions using the company database.
- Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on community well-being.
