About The Position

The Client Support Specialist at All Together Recovery LLC (ATR) provides practical and emotional support to clients and supports departments in their treatment efforts. The role helps ensure the safety of everyone in the building and contributes to a treatment environment conducive to recovery.

Performance is evaluated through client support, staff support, facility support, and documentation. The specialist maintains a consistent presence with clients, models recovery behavior, listens to concerns, observes behavior, and provides accountability when necessary. The role also assists with structured group activities, individual support as requested, de-escalation, crisis intervention, client retention, and occasional client transportation.

The specialist responds to requests from staff, collaborates with other departments within the scope of the role, helps maintain a clean and orderly facility, follows safety procedures, and promptly and accurately completes required documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent presence with clients, model recovery behavior, listen to concerns, observe behavior, and hold clients accountable when necessary.
• Provide supportive services during structured group activities and one-to-one interactions as requested.
• Support de-escalation, crisis intervention, and client retention.
• Occasionally transport clients to and from appointments and outside events.
• Respond promptly to requests through team feeds and radios.
• Assist and support other departments in providing services to clients.
• Collaborate respectfully with other departments to maintain a quality work and treatment environment while practicing within the role’s scope.
• Help ensure that the facility is clean and orderly, and report maintenance needs to the Client Support Manager and/or Executive Director.
• Follow company policies for intake procedures, contraband searches, and emergency procedures to help ensure the safety of people in the building.
• Promptly and accurately complete documentation, including shift reports, gas logs, group notes, and incident reports.
• Promptly and accurately report new admissions, potential walk-offs, and circumstances requiring clinical or medical intervention through the proper channels.
