About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is seeking a customer-service-oriented Client Support Associate to provide welcoming, helpful experiences for clients and support office operations. The role includes engaging with clients, confirming and coordinating appointments, following up with current and prospective clients, distributing marketing materials, and keeping clients engaged while they wait. Associates also support local marketing and community outreach by visiting shops, events, and community locations to build brand awareness and recruit talent. Seasonal positions are described, and both full-time and part-time positions are available. Compensation is $15.00–$16.50 per hour. PTIN certification is required.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a customer-focused role.
• Obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with leads and appointments.
• Make outbound calls to prior-year clients.
• Contact and convert online and virtual students.
• Coordinate and manage client appointments to optimize scheduling timelines and traffic flow.
• Support local marketing and community outreach events.
• Generate referrals from existing clients.
• Assist with client check-in and office traffic management.
• Follow up with prospects and unfinished returns.
• Enhance peak-season operations to maximize workplace productivity.
• Visit local shops, events, and community locations to drive brand awareness and recruit talent.
• Distribute marketing materials and keep clients engaged during wait times.
