About The Position

Function Health is seeking a creative and passionate Client Success Manager to join their growing team. This role will work directly with B2B clients, including employers, channel partners, and brokers, to enroll employees, maintain high client satisfaction, and expand account opportunities. The ideal candidate will effectively manage a diverse portfolio of clients, personalize awareness and enrollment strategies, collaborate cross-functionally, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an early team member, this role is critical in shaping the client and member experience during a period of significant growth. This role requires energy, talent, and a genuine passion for Function's mission, with occasional travel expected (approximately every other month). Applicants seeking an easy job, a large corporation, a slow pace, or predictable 9-to-5 hours are not suited for this position.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in client success, account management, or a client-facing role in a high-growth startup.
  • Expertise with employee benefits, particularly health/wellness programs.
  • Experience driving B2B2C enrollment, including designing and implementing campaigns.
  • Background in the healthcare, wellness, public health, or benefits industry.
  • Experience using AI tools to increase efficiency and extend capabilities.
  • Comfort navigating (and leading) in a rapidly growing business, with an entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, juggle multiple accounts, and maximize client retention and expansion.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Gainsight, etc.).
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and clear in both verbal and written communication.
  • Resourceful and proactive, with an owner’s mentality and a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building trusted relationships, working toward client goals, and developing tailored plans for success.
  • Own client reporting, invoicing, and ROI, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and hosting quarterly business reviews.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and deliver targeted awareness and activation campaigns to maximize sign-ups.
  • Partner with clients and the Function sales team to expand the eligible population, client contribution, and scope of covered products.
  • Track and report on key client success metrics, surface risks early, and develop action plans to maintain strong engagement.
  • Work closely with Operations, B2B, and Data teams to address client needs, surface feedback, and improve delivery.
  • Engage customers as references, collect testimonials, and facilitate case studies to highlight the value and impact of Function services.
  • Guide partners in driving improvements in the health, well-being, and cost profile of eligible populations.
