Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 2 years' accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Great organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is desirable
  • Exhibit professionalism and creativity, representing the company in both client and team situations
  • Cooperative attitude and ability to work both individually and in a team
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fluid work environment
  • Patience, resiliency and tolerant of stressful situations

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Assist with cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, depositing checks, and processing payments.
  • Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership and business partners.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and research discrepancies.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions within the accounting and eligibility systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing and documentation management.
  • Perform more routine and established projects and analyses for a specific accounting or finance area.
  • Continually look for opportunities and make recommendations to improve process delivery and overall job and client experience.
  • Exhibit the highest degree of professionalism and creativity, representing the company in both client and team situations.
  • Support the transition from QuickBooks to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including data validation, testing, and process documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
