About The Position

PIMCO is hiring a 2027 summer intern for its Client Solutions and Analytics team at its Newport Beach, California headquarters. The team develops objective, actionable insights to help clients improve portfolio outcomes. It works with clients—including public pensions, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and financial advisors—to understand their needs, analyze portfolios, and make recommendations. The intern will partner with account managers, product specialists, and portfolio managers, using quantitative analysis, financial modeling, data-driven research, and emerging technologies to support client work. The 10-week internship runs from early June to mid-August. Interns complete PIMCO Fundamentals Training in the first week, then join their team for projects and complete at least one capstone project to present to the team. The program also includes mentorship, educational and networking events, a formal mid- and end-of-summer feedback process, and participation in PIMCO’s Global Month of Volunteering. Interns receive training and resources for using AI-powered tools. Competitive compensation and a transition bonus to help with relocation are offered.
