This role supports the team with processing and handling time sensitive documents and patient requests. Requirements

  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epic EHR system
  • Administrative experience
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance and FDCPA

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, validate, and deliver consumer specific requests
  • Analyze consumer mail or itemized billings for accuracy
  • Process all internal correspondence and account updates
  • Analyze accounts to resolve balance discrepancies and post payments and adjustments
  • May be required to verify insurance eligibility
  • Inspect bankruptcy notifications
  • Process itemized statements and settlement offers
