About The Position

This co-op opportunity is within the Client Services team, which provides exceptional service to high-net-worth clients and advisors. The team is collaborative, client-focused, and requires strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills, along with in-depth product and industry knowledge. This is an 8-month co-op term starting in September 2026 and ending May 2027, primarily in-office with one day of remote flexibility per week.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of studies in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics or Business.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistent highly accurate work.
  • Strong client service / client relations skills and prior experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience and/or keen interest in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with a CRM database, Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently.
  • Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong organization, time management and prioritization skills with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client accounts are compliant by completing regulatory required documentation.
  • Provide administrative expertise and deliver a high level of personalized client service.
  • Execute on client requests for non-financial changes.
  • Liaise with custodians and insurance carriers to execute on client requests in a timely manner; proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to service level agreements.
  • Maintain client data and perform data integrity checks for quality control.
  • Provide back up support to other team members as necessary.
  • Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change.
